Well, in hardship you develop your best efforts. Don't give up. I started too in a type 2. It taught me to be mindful of my equipments limitations. And cherish the little things. I think the best thing is to learn to plot first. It doesn't matter if you loose them at first. Just consider them training drills. From that comes knowledge of where the target is going and what it is doing. Then you can use that to make choices in tactics, and know when it is pointless or just risky to venture on with them.
