That maintenance issue on the Kursk should never have been allowed to happen and, that makes me wonder, what if some of these nuclear missiles they've got are also suffering with the same maintenance issues as well?. They have had several incidents of this happening namely K219 in 1986, TK17 in 1991 and possible K129 in 1969 as well as other such incidents.
As for Kursk I may have watched this a while back will have to watch again to refresh and give pointers but I did spend a lot of time researching with this particular boat.
