1000 German ace Ernst Udet, in a Fokker D.VII, shoots down DH.9 D1721 for victory number 52. 2nd Lt J.D. Connolly, 98 Sqdn RAF, is taken prisoner; 1nd Lt E.H. Clayton is wounded and taken prisoner, later dies from his wounds.

1130 New Zealander RAF ace Arthur Conningham, in SE.5a D6883, is credited with two Fokker D.VIIs for victories 12 and 13.

German ace Karl Bolle, in a Fokker D.VII, shoots down a Salmson 2.A2 for victory number 30. 1st Lt Joel H. McClendon and 2nd Lt Charles W. Plummer, 88th US Aero Sqdn, are both killed.

German ace Gerhard Fieseler, with Jasta 25 over the Macedonian Front, shoots down a Nieuport for victory number 11. Cpl D. Pallière, Serbian Esc 524, is killed.

German ace Arthur Laumann, with Jasta 66, shoots down SPAD for victory number 23.

German ace Georg Meyer, with Jasta 37, shoots down SE.5a C8886 for victory number 14. 2nd Lt R.K. Whitney, 60 Sqdn RAF, is wounded.

French ace Armand Pinsard, with Spa 23, destroys a German observation balloon for victory number 24.

German pilot Konrad von Bülow-Bothkamp (2 victories) is killed in a flying accident in Turku, Finland. Harry von Bülow-Bothkamp (6 victories) is posted home as the last surviving brother.
