1700 Brazilian RAF ace Gordon Rule, in DH.9 D1715 with 2nd Lt S.P. Scott as observer, shoots down a Fokker D.VII for victory number 7. This is Gordon Fox Rule's last aerial victory. He will survive the war and return to São Paulo, becoming the head of the Central Office of the Companhia de Terras Norte Paraná. He will also serve as a leading member of the São Paulo Athletic Club until his death in 1987.
