Default Top Ten Ace Captains missions uploaded

(Also posted on main discussion forum)

Fascinated by WWII sub history, I have created the patrols of the Top Ten US Navy submarine captains in WWII by number of confirmed ships and tonnage sunk.

They are 10 files uploaded at Filefront:

http://www.box.net/shared/3d8702f8xz

The patrol missions of each captain are included and each patrol has a mission description & pictures giving the historical background of that particular captain, his sub, and the patrol it went on.

The file names are:

Ace01_OKane.7z (5 patrol missions)
Ace02_Cutter.7z (4 patrol missions)
Ace03_Morton.7z (5 patrol missions)
Ace04_Fluckey.7z (5 patrol missions)
Ace05_Dealey.7z (6 patrol missions)
Ace06_Whitaker.7z (4 patrol missions)
Ace07_Underwood.7z (3 patrol missions)
Ace08_Gross.7z (7 patrol missions)
Ace09_Triebel.7z (5 patrol missions)
Ace10_Coyle.7z (6 patrol missions)

Links I used for most of the historical data:

http://uboat.net/allies/warships/

http://en.wikipedia.org/

http://ahoy.tk-jk.net/macslog/TopTen...arineCapt.html

These files are v1.4 & JSGME ready or you can to install them manually into your SinglePatrols folder.

Note: Unlike SH3, SH4's Mission Editor does not allow one to specify the exact name of sub used in a mission, but does allow for sub type and date of entry. So you will get a random name when you start each mission, but at least you will have the right sub type and it's correct configuration for the mission date.

I also updated my Patrols in the Aleutian Islands, which include 20 loosely historical patrols centered on the 1942-43 Aleutian Island battles. These involved S-18 through S-35 as well as the Growler, Triton, Trigger, Grunion, Finback, Gato, Tuna, and Narwhal (had to use a Salmon class for the Narwhal).

Aleutian_Patrols.7z

I hope you all enjoy these missions and any comments and corrections will be appreciated.
