Bring ‘em up right
I was about the same age, 4, when my father first brought me to Battleship Park in Mobile, Alabama. I can still recall the home movies my parents shot which captured the awe of a young boy seeing such massive hardware for the first time. Well, today I paid it forward to my boy, complete with the home movies and loads of photos, and visited the USS Alabama and USS Drum. I enjoyed sharing my interests with my boy and with my wife (who is a saint to have endured about 6 hours crawling around those vessels, without complaint.) I thought I might share a few of the photos we took today. So without further ado:
