I once made a mission and added a few ai ships from the list, played the game and i got attacked and my crew was not responding.
No message, no contact report and no visual contact.
I first thought this was my crew but it appeared to be a bug because when i changed the ship and tried it again they reported the contact.
Also i hope your crew is not tired or anything? Going on silent running and make time go faster = a disabled crew
