Default WIP: Aces' Multiskin Bombers for BoB II WOV

Good day chaps,

Those of you that fly BoB II - Wings of Victory might be interested in my latest project which is undergoing beta testing and near completion:

Beta release notes:

Ace's Multiskin bombers V1.00 for Battle of Britain 2 Wings of Victory
This multiskin package will add historically correct markings too all twin-engined Luftwaffe bombers, the He-111, Ju-88 and Do-17.

Contents:

All twin engined bombers will now display correct Geshwader (Wing), Staffel (Squadron) and aircraft codes on the fuselage and under wing positions. Different Stafeln within the Gruppen (Groups) will display appropriate spinner colours, usually white, red or yellow however some historical exceptions such as black or multi-coloured spinners have been included.

Every aircraft will display a Geschwader, Gruppe or Staffel emblem in port and starboard positions. Every Staffel is lead by a command or "Stab" aircraft which can be usually be identified by having green aircraft code and prop spinners these aircraft are coded historically correctly with the aircraft/stafel code as "AB", "BB" and "CB" leading 1st Gruppe - 1,2,3 stafeln, "AC", "BC" & "CC" leading 2nd Gruppe - 4,5,6 staffeln and "AD", "BD" and "CD" leading 3rd Gruppe - 7,8,9 staffeln.

I have also included Gruppe-specific markings such as KG3 (Do-17) coloured Gruppe nose bands, KG76 (Do-17) coloured Gruppe fuselage stripes, KG51 (Ju-88) coloured engine cowlings, KG54 (Ju-88) coloured Gruppe diagonal fuselage bands as well as a particular aircraft marking on He-111 coded G1+BH the second aircraft in Staffel 1 of I/KG55.Also look out for the yellow rudder He-111s of 9.KG53 and 7.KG55!!.

From the 1st of September 1940 you will notice that certain aircraft have one or more bars on wing and tail positions, these were used by the Luftwaffe as formation markings. I have also reworked the He-111, Ju-88 and Do-17 skins to add some new detail.

My thanks to BoB Development Group members Bader, Osram, Buddye and redband_151 for all their kind assistance and hope you enjoy using the multiskins.

oh and a few gratuitous screenies

Cheers
