Default SH4 & Windows 10

Ahoy, I have been trying to resolve an issue I was having with installing and running SH4 on my Wins 10 pc system. Now, with the help of me taking notes from several posts on SUBSIM and Tech. Support from Ubisoft, I finally have a good working solution to my SH4 problem.
I would like to share this with you guys that are having similar issues with SH4 & Wins 10. Here's my PC system: HP Pavilion 550-a-114, AMD Phenom 9750 Quad Processor, AMD Radeon RS Grapics, 8GB Ram, 912GB Hard Drive.
I installed SH4 from a DVD disc ( which was available on Amazon.com) Also there are other version of SH available on Amazon.com. My initial installation went well. I loaded SH4 DVD, ran the Setup.exe, selected the pc directory where the SH4 program files where to be download to. Note: I had a note that said it was a mistake to go with the default directory of (program files x86). So, I created a new folder in my Windows directory (c\ubisoft) and had my SH4 program files installed there. Next on the choosing the SH4 program features to be included with the download: a) SH4 program files b) DirectX9 c) No Game Shadow d) adode acrobat reader only if you don't have a recent version already on your pc. I followed installation directions from here. Near the end of the installation proceedure checked "Run Silent Hunter 4" And this did Launch the Game. The SH4 game did run after my initial installation. But after I Exit my first game session and ejected the SH4 DVD YIKES! I loaded the SH4 DVD for my next game session and the game would not load again.
This is when I reached out to the Ubisoft Tech Support. Now, I got into the compatibility issues between SH4 & Wins 10 and this was my solution: loaded the SH4 DVD, selected " no action taken" from the DVD drive options, went to the pc dvd drive icon, left click (opens SH4 program files), went to SH4 Autorun, right click (opens SH4 Autorun program window), click on properties tab, click "run compatibility troubleshooter" (this will tell you compatibility setting that is right for your system). my system setting was Windows Vista (sp2), next check "run this program mode" select your system compatibility setting from the listed settings, next, check "disable display scaling on high DPI setting", next, check "run this program as an adminstrator", click "APPLY", click "OK". To launch the game, go back to SH4 program files directory and dbl click on SH4 Autorun. GOOD LUCK with Followin Seas and Happy Hunting'
