0830 New Zealander AFC pilot Carrick Paul and Australian ace observer William Weir, flying Bristol F.2b C4627, shoot down a Rumpler two-seater. Victory number 5 for Paul; number 6 for Weir.

1040 German ace Ernst Udet, in a Fokker D.VII, shoots down SPAD XIII 4848 for victory number 56. S/Lt Jean Caël of Spa 3 is wounded.

1105 English RAF pilot Laurence Pearson and observer Edward Darby, in DH.4 A7632, shoot down a Pfalz D.XII. Victory number 5 for both.

1125 Laurence Pearson and Edward Darby score their second kill of the day, a Fokker D.VII. Number 6 for both.

1220 German ace Oliver von Beaulieu-Marconnay, with Jasta 15, shoots down a SPAD for victory number 13.

1220 German ace Josef Veltjens, flying a Fokker D.VII, shoots down a SPAD for victory number 29.

1930 Josef Veltjens scores his second kill of he day, another SPAD, for victory number 30.

German ace Gerhard Fieseler, with Jasta 25 on the Macedonian Front, shoots down a Dorand AR.2 for victory number 12.

German naval ace Theo Osterkamp, in an Albatros D.V, shoots down DH.9 D1708 for victory number 22. Lt A.C. Lloyd and wnd Lt M.G. Wilson, 218 Sqdn RAF, are taken prisoner.

German naval ace Gotthard Saschenberg, in an Albatros D.V, shoots down a Sopwith Camel for victory number 22.

Gotthard Saschenberg shoots down DH.9 B7623 for number 23. 1st Lt D.R. Harris, on loan from the USAS and 2nd Lt J. Munro, 211 Sqdn RAF, are taken prisoner.
