Unfortunately, there has been a long drought of tanksims. Other than the recent
T-72: Balkans of Fire!, you have to reach back to 2000-2002 to find a really good tanksim, such as
Panzer Elite or
Steel Beasts. Both are good games with loyal followings but neither measures up to the graphics level of the current crop of PC games. Worthy titles like
Spearhead, M1 Tank Platoon II, Armored Fist, and Panzer Commander are ebay refugees now, so at least you can have some cheap fun.
