The only thing I can say here Steve is I hear you. Don't know if that helps. I think we are about the same age. Currently waiting for two different minor surgeries, one is for a very painful hernia, I have arthritis in my back which makes my moblity limited and I am pretty much deaf in one ear. Great ain't it.
On the other hand it could be worse. I'll take the mind over the body anyday if I have to choose. We have friends who live across the street from us. The lady was diagnoised with dementia a few years ago. She is happy but no longer has any idea who we or anybody else is. We've known her for 14 years. She is the same age as me. Her husband Mike has told me that he would be ok if the Lord was to take her. That is tough to hear. He is going through hell.
