ok here goes my favs... "Brazen Chariots" its about british tankers in matildas in n. africia. then of course "Panzer Battles" by melentine,(staff officer to Rommel etc.) fantastic insight into german tactics and equipment in n. africia."panzer Leader" by Guardarien,need i say more?
then theres B.H.Lidel Hart,this is the guy who proposed the entire idea of modern mechanised warfare,when everyone else was peeking out of a trench.
a fellow named harold coyle( i think thats his name) wrote a series of modern armoured conflict(fiction) books"Bright Star" was one im sorry but the other titles escape me they are all very good and give terrific insight to being a tread head.
