A good account of the events of 1939-40. Volume two details the Continuation and Lapland Wars - one of the few books in English to do so.

Got both of the books yesterday (English versions). From the little I've had chance to read them they appear to be very well written. The "sin" of foreign writers who've written books about the Finno-Russo wars is oversimplifying things, which is definitely not what you get with these books. The reader is introduced to the topic with lots of photos, commander bios (both sides), maps and diary entries both official and personal.
