Glad to hear the Steam fix worked ok for you and you have the game up and running.
Regarding the Thomsen Sound Pack.
This mod causes a problem in the Eprobungstelle test missions where it will place your boat thousands of miles away from your test base.
Very useful information also especially the speech file changes.
