Im afraid ive given up

The naval battles are fantastic and really make me want to work my way up through to the bigger ships..... but it just takes too long. I must have put about 25 hours or so into the game and im only level 13.

You practicaly have to give up any free time you have just to get anywhere in the game. I look at the level 50 people going past me in their ships of the line and just wonder how much time they must have waisted to get to that point

Also everything else in the game apart from the naval combat is just terrible
