I started playing the Ultimate level and an Oscar was lying in the mud behind the rise in the sea floor. AND, with five torpedoes and two hits he lifted out of the mud and was running away at 30 knots. I finally just chased him at flank speed and he disappeared in an island. I even went active and still couldn't get a fix on him.

But, it stopped him from making it to the GIUK gap.
