So...26,800 mph? That's above mach 25 and the speed at which objects reenter the atmosphere from space. Assuming it didn't burn up from the friction, you wouldn't even need a warhead on such a device.

Let's just say I find it difficult to believe that a projectile could effectively sustain such speeds without catastrophic results.
