If you have some emblems already made, such as CapZap1970's Emblem Pack, just copy them to the subemblems folder, usually located at:

C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\SilentHunterIII\data\Emblems\Subembl ems

The next time you start SH3, the added emblems will be listed under Special in the U-Boat Upgrades screen.

If you want to make your own emblems, they must be saved as 256x256, 24-bit color, uncompressed Targa (.tga) files. Use an alpha-channel mask to make the background of your emblem transparent if you wish for the u-boat's paint to show through.
