In all honesty, I dont think it will give that much of an advantage in IL2, looking around with the hatswitch is like a second nature to me. That is, with the normal TrackIR modeled in IL2, there's a mod by a well known ArmA & OFP modder, Kegetys, that enables an full 6DOF TrackIR to IL2, meaning you can lean out of your cockpit abit etc. etc. I have the mouse version of it installed it and I cant even start to imagine the advantages of it with a TrackIR.
But I'd guess it'll make it much more enjoyable and alot easier flying choppers/jets in ArmA & BF2.
