Wings Over Vietnam is pretty good fun, for stuff like Intruder night missions and the like, the flight model for the aircraft is somewhat generic, but there's enough of a variety between the planes keeps things interesting.

Don't expect it to simulate high alphas, every switch in the cockpit or anything like that (for that you want Falcon AF), but for a bit of turning and burning fun while you listen to a sixties soundtrack on Windows Media Player, its great. WOV can be improved massively with the commercial add on 'Yankee Air Pirate', which adds some very realistic missions.

Good atmospheric radio sounds on it and nice comprehensive wingman commands for a variety of tactical approaches are two major plus points. In this respect it comes fairly close to Falcon. You don't need to learn a million key commands to fly stuff either, which is another plus.

Great things about WOV, (and indeed all the sims from Third Wire, such as First Eagles and Wings Over Europe) are that developer support, modding and freeware is in abundance, and a great community surrounds these programs. There are tons of repaints and new add-on aircraft available for free from the 'net.

Recommended for the price.
