allways amazes me that buying a sound card actually causes more problems than it solves...i have never bought one and use the integrated one that comes with the PC....now i know folks say or it is implied that a sound card is a nice bit of kit to have but other than the sharing of the processor load thru the card i can't think of any advantages to having one..given the issues that allways seem to come up with any number of games when using a sound card...i have nver had ANY sound issues at all ever not with games not with any other application ever with the on board sound system..and it sounds fine when playing music etc...better than my very expensive hifi equipment in fact...
