Isnt it funny. Iran is under sanctions since years and years - and in that time becomes one of the globe' leading combat drone developers and now exporters.

Tells something about the state of their nuclear bomb program. The boss of the IAEA just yesterday said that his agencies now sees zero cooperation from the Iranians.

Turkey, not under sanctions, but not really a trustworthy ally. Drones have ebnocme a domiant ting in their arms development and export.

On a sidenote, Germany's new frigates have zero anti-drone capability. And have zero ability to intercept incoming missiles, for example to defend other ships, like now needed in the Red Sea. Just days ago there was an editorial on this in one newspaper, I thunk it was the NZZ. Did anyone reflect on that in the TV main news or talkshows? Noooo... The German army also has no anti drone defence capacities (the Gepard is not in use anymore). The only dedicated air dfence unit of the ground forces has been dismantled already many yeras ago. They now want to form a new one. Last news on that: costs for that have exploded several times, last time by a factor of FIVE. Look at the budget quarrels over here, and then predict the future...

The relevance of the totally transparent battlefield due to surveillance drones is being demonstrated in extremis in the Ukraine war currently. Nothing goes anymore...

Then there are loiteirng ammunitions...

Next station: drone swarms. And autonomous AI controlling these swarms. We should be frightened. We have reason to be.
