Exercise Asil Kiliç - Sorry guys, for some reason, a lot of the triggers became corrupted - fixed now
https://www.subsim.com/radioroom/dow...o=file&id=6268
It's Wednesday, 23 February, 2022. Joe Biden is the American President, 'We Don't Talk About Bruno' by Encanto is number one on the U.S. charts and the top movie at the box office is 'Uncharted'.
One of the navy's oldest submarines, USS Newport News (SSN 750), has been given 'dispensation' (under the terms of the Montreux Convention (1936)) and has just entered the Black Sea, to participate in the Turkish naval exercise, Asil Kiliç (Noble Sword).
This is on the provisos that a Russian frigate observes a transfer of her fire control circuitry to a Turkish AOR (so that she has no working weapons) - and that the boat leaves the Black Sea at the conclusion of the exercises.
NOTES.
This mission is set at the beginning of the 2022 Russo-Ukrainian War.
Made with RA 1.50.3 - it should also be 'upwardly compatible' with later versions.
Constructive feedback welcome via the Subsim Forums.

INSTALLATION
Place all of the files in the 'Scenario' folder into your 'Scenario' folder in DW.
BUGS AND ISSUES
1. Sometimes at the start of the mission, the Russian FFG escorting the Turkish Auxiliary will stop 'dead in the water' - this doesn't affect the mission, but if it's annoying, just restart the mission and it should work.
2. The mission is quite stable, though I recommend you don't have time compression on at the times new 'groups' are being created for the mission - to avoid crashes:
23 Feb (Day 1) - 15:15
24 Feb (Day 2) - 0000 (midnight)
24 Feb (Day 2) - 1200-1205
There is a slight 'pause' when a group is being created - just be patient if the game 'stops' for about 20-30 seconds - it'll start again...
LEGAL STUFF
All military aspects and research are from 'OSINT' (open source intelligence). Naturally, download at your own risk.
As said, this mission is fictitious.
