I'm running the CAM in WAC 5.0 with no problems. Well, with no CTD during loading, that is.

The first thing I do is enable these:
WarAceCampaign 5.0
WarAceCampaign 5.0 Patch_5.2
WAC5.01 Realistic Hull Damage
WAC5.2 H.sie Supplement to V16B1
WAC5.0 H.sie Supplement to V16B1_Atlantic_Baltic_Campaign
Once I've done that, I copy/paste and then edit the relevant CAM info into the Stiebler4C_Addon_for_V16B1 mod, following the instructions in
Instructions_Stiebler4C_V16B1_Addon and
Stiebler4C_patch_Docs. For instance, once the first five (5) mods are enabled, I go to (current game path)/data/Campaigns/Campaign and copy the Campaign_RND.mis and Campaign_SCR.mis from the game folder to the Stiebler4C_Addon_for_V16B1 mod, and then I follow the editing instructions given in
Instructions_Stiebler4C_V16B1_Addon and
Stiebler4C_patch_Docs. This assures that when I load that mod it has used the
current game files as the basis for the CAM modifications.
I do the same for every instance Stiebler describes in his instructions, as well as ticking the CAM-ship mod when running
HsieOptionsSelector_V16B.exe.
This has (so far) prevented any CTD during loading.
