Icon11 Biggest Convoy to date 5/40

Well it is late May 1940..and trying to get in the last kills before the Change over to next Flotilla. I am in S. Western App. area.
I get an Icon of a convoy on the map but no info in radio or Capt log. It is about 300 km away so I dead recon where it might be heading and go for a intercept.
after several hours I finally get a radio report of that convoy(Just as the Box is starting to fade out on map. It is of the original position of the Convoy and a rough heading SSW. no speed given. So I adjust my intercept a bit more South.
And sail a few more hours when one of my Boyz Spots a DD. (I wish my binoculars could see as far as theirs)
The Sea is clear as Glass..No Wind, No Fog, Nothing.(good thing after reading about the DUDs)...So I drop under the waves to about 30m to get a Sonar reading on this guy and decide what I am going to do. When the Sonar man shows the whole British Navy is out there and I am right in front of them. Being far out in front I Surface and have a good long look.
There it was a Convoy of 45 Ships

Column of 8 Ships, 5 Rows Deep with 5 DD Escorting

I did very little maneuvering.....
I Dropped down and let the 1st Column go by and came up to do a multi shot of the second column. At 2600m I shot a .5 Degree Salvo(2-TP) at a Big Large Cargo, 1 at a Med Bulk Cargo(missed), 1 at a Large Bulk Cargo. Aft TP at a Med Tanker. 3 Kills, 5 TP's WOOT I am hooked on this game now

After shot I dropped down to 60m and set speed to 2. Not sure if I should have gone higher speed. I did have Convoy masking my motors(Thoughts ??)
I set 45 degree from my firing position toward back of convoy to escape....
Then it was on...but DD's had no idea where I shot from..but they did get close to me a few times.

Sorry about long post..
Excited my first Big Convoy and Dieter's too....When he saw the Convoy he shrieked like a little school girl
