I see it another way, clearly Mrs May was taken for a ride by her advisors at the time before they both stepped down after the bad result. But when you look at Neil Kinnock who was on course for a possible victory before that major gaff of a party which allowed the Tories to win he still did better than Jeremy Corbyn.
