For me, the first thing i will do is to go to PD and make sure all of the target location then make a 180 degree turn and dive to 200 feet. After all of that level the ship and firing all the missile, once u fire all of them immediate make a emergency dive and leave a decoy. That make a pretty safe way to fire the missile, by i normally will just use torp to kill all of the surface ship that can shoot back and use the missile for merchant only.
