Default Raise scouting distance of Watchmen?

So as it turns out im not that much of a sub nut as most of you, so i mostly play SH3 with this nice Warship mod.


But theres a recurring issue that i could use some help with.

My guys on the bridge dont see ****.

Usually it goes like this, ship approches, camo indicator goes red,

"WEVE BEEN DETECTED HERR KALEUN!"
"WEVE BEEN DETECTED HERR KALEUN!"
"WEVE BEEN DETECTED HERR KALEUN!"
"WEVE BEEN DETECTED HERR KALEUN!"
"WEVE BEEN DETECTED HERR KALEUN!"

Yeah right ok but where is ze enemy then, hans? And hans just has no answer to that.

Switching to binoc and there it is after two seconds of search...

Since this happened a lot it happened in all shapes and forms:

80° Starboard - 3500m
60° Port - 7500m
5° Port - 5000m
120° Starboard - 8500m


And then i have to ask the question, i I myself can see them, why can my 5 officers of the watch who (and i specificly checked) have no fatigue and are all qualified watchmen not?

But then it came to me, it must be because this game is for submarines and not for ships, so here is what i need from you modders:


Where can i edit the scouting distances and efficiency of my guys on the bridge.

I looked through the files high and low but im not as experienced as you guys here :/

I apprechiate all the help i can get!
