Australia does not have any nuclear power stations. there is one nuclear research/medicine reactor at Lucas Heights.

The main reason Australia has not looked at SSNs is that it is not considered politically feasible.

Regardless of the technical ability of the boats, there is a belief in Australia that anything nuclear is Chernobyl waiting to happen.
