When you have installed the game.
You can only start with 2 mods maximum enabled.
1.The main LSH3 mod
2. The GUI widescreen mod.
Select a career name in Commander or your own.
Check the U-Boat type being offered if it is not a VIIB there is a drop down box where you can make the change.
Options can be changed in the main menu if you want to change your language etc.
You must then enter the Naval Academy in order for your save games folder to appear in your documents which will show as V15.
When you exit the game you can then add your additional mods.
Always start the game through Commander.
You can make any changes here to your settings.
With your new career when the game loads to the office do not make any changes but just click on the map as you need to do a test mission for all new boats in the Eprobungstelle flotilla.
When completed click on the documents on the desk and you can give out any promotions etc.
Click on the telephone and transfer to the 2nd flotilla in Wilhelmshaven.
When accepted you can then exit the game.
If you are going to have a realistic career then only enable it when starting a new mission and then untick the box the next time you start Commander before starting the game in the same mission.
The game works well and offers many ways to play your game at different skill levels.
