Carisbrook ( United Kingdom): The cargo ship was shelled and sunk in the North Sea 70 nautical miles (130 km) south by west of Start Point, Sanday, Orkney Islands by
SM U-38 ( Kaiserliche Marine). Her crew survived.
Sigurd Hund (Norway): The steamer enroute from Fredrikstad - Glasgow with a cargo of whale oil was taken as a prize by
U-33 (Konrad Gansser) at position 59° 15'N, 2° 30'E.
