Who are your favourite TV show characters and why? I always loved to see actor Maurice Gosfield amble on as Private Dwayne Doberman in "Sergeant Bilko". Doberman was written into the script as "the most woebegone soldier", and his expressions of innocent unquestioning trust were a delight.
Gosfield apparently also tried out unsuccessfully for the role of Uncle Fester in "The Addams Family".
