Well SH4 surprised me so an apologie is in order.

I`m sorry SH4 I underestimated you !

Here is what happened:

I returned to the game and while in patrol SO reports 2 warships.
I dive and wait to pass( their course took them near me).I pop up the attack periscope to take a peak.The lead ship immediately starts signaling ( this is a great way to display that you were spoted, without using an obvious sign, thus breaking immersion and this is the first reason to aplogize)

Secondly those ships stood there for at least 6 hours dropping depth charges.
Thirdly when i was approaching an task force in fog and after they spotted me they sent airplanes to drop depth charges.

Now that`s much better!
