One of my hobbies are HAM Radio and retrocomputing (hobby of using old computers today). Yesterday, while I was goggling instructions on how to use the Enigma Machine, Google brought me to this amazing How to use the Enigma Machine - SUBSIM Radio Room Forums tutorial. And this is how I discovered this BBS.

I like Simulation software and I'm a regular with Flight Simulator X in VATSIM network. In the past I've also briefly experimented with Ship Simulator Extremes -- not I accomplished anything useful with it.

I'm totally new (slash idiot) with submarine simulation, and I hope that soon I will discover a WWII submarine game, preferably with a Radio Room where I can practice some Enigma decoding online! (but now I think I got a bit ahead of myself...)

From the clips I saw on YouTube (and on the thread above), I'm considering Silent Hunter V.

Thanks

Welcome aboard both!!!
