Yeah, I was aiming to support whichever flank would need it with the center
push. 1.Kompanie most likely as they are in bad shape infantry wise.

I must say though Dowly, these AARs are tempting me towards CM, the last one I played, IIRC, was the demo for Barbarossa to Berlin and that sucked me in quite well. Might have to have a think when pay day comes around...the only discouragement is the price, which is a tad steep.

It is great fun. But it also suffers from, like you said, steep price and on top of
that the next major update will be payware (adding such features like movable waypoints
).
The game itself, while fun, is a rough diamond. So many features and functions
you'd expect to see are still missing after all these years.
Especially
the infantry aspect could use some tweaking.
But all in all, very enjoyable.
If you buy it, get the Commonwealth bundle, you'll get 8 or so forces to
play with (US, Canada, Brits, Poles, Heer, Luftwaffe, SS). Think it's $65 dollars
atm.
EDIT: Oh and if you end up getting it, try to keep out off the Battlefront file repository.
You'll end up spending an hour or two just browsing it and downloading mods.
