IIRC the English Nav changes the navigation map names and grid references from German to English spelling. If you want to keep the German spelling, do not enable the English Nav Map and Grid Refs mod.
frau kaleun is correct about the different campaign files overwriting each other. Most computers will handle the Merged Campaign file, it just takes longer to load, and many thought their computer had frozen up it took so long. That is the reason behind having campaign files for specific areas like the Black Sea, Indian Ocean. If you are only going to be sailing in one of those areas, why load the rest of the worlds traffic. Doing this cuts down the load times alot. Personally, I ran the merged campiagn. I would start the loading process, and go grab something to drink and a snack, and when I would get back, it would be about loaded up.
