Gave it a try and and very nice... got caught in a storm and couldn't believe the beauty of it, only thing is that I never saw any lightning flashing on my crewmen... heard lots of thunder but no flashing. Use the Mighty Fine Crew mod and didn't know if that would affect it or not.
Made a few personal adjustments (water a little less transparent and gave underwater a slight greenish tint). I don't even want to look for ships right now... just travel to different regions and soak up the scenery.
Edit\ Hmm, after restarting the game from my saved point in the storm I now see lightning flashing.
