Convoys are actually set to spawn around correct dates

Providing I am reading the files correct
In SH3 and 4 the spawn rates were by minutes controlled from each convoy

DelayMinInterv=7200 < divided by 60 divided by 24 = 5 days ( in reality a lil too often

In SH5 I cant find anything like that on the files but in the covoy.mis
( C:\Ubisoft\Silent Hunter 5\data\Campaigns\CampaignProjects\Total_Germany )

A quick look at the HX series on http://www.convoyweb.org.uk/hx/index.html gives approx 8 day sailings between convoys

What you may want to look at is the report info

ReportPosTime=2170 < 36 hours between reports
ReportPosProbability=60 < % chance of a map report

Am near totally convinced the cooldown days are what controls the gap between sailings
