Well, it seems like we actually have a complete game.
A workaround was posted on UBI forum and got deleted immediately, thank [whatever you believe in] for Google Cache. Saved as a PDF on my pc and it is working.
So what does it do?
1. Can advance campaign with no problems
2. Unlock IX uboat

3. Create your own campaign
4. AND MANY MORE!

It is a bit of work, lots of cfg editing but it works.

Too bad UBI restricted him receiving PM's and deleted his thread.
Q: So, what does DRM do?
A: Checks for unique game ID and if it is found, save game write protect is removed
W: with CFG editing, it can be bypassed.
Q: IX, is it true and is it playable?
A: Hell yes, but you need to copy some files from SH4 folder and make unit playable. Modders would know this....

What does all this mean?
Legitimate customers payed full price for RESTRICTED, but FULL product as intended to. No additional file downloads are happening, beside save game upload and download and unique game ID.
Pirates can now play UNRESTRICTED and offline, and even have more fun manipulating game, adding new units, making own campaign, etc....

This is what ubi does not want you to know....

Now, what is your opinion on all this?

P.S. I will not discuss methods in public on how-to, so this is more a discussion on when will ubi stop with all this marketing whatever they're doing....
