Well, I decided to risk it and bought the game and what ya know, it's great fun!

Kinda obvious it's gotten it's influence from Ace Combat as it's pretty much 100% clone of it. You fight back ridiculous amounts of ground and air units, you can carry tons of missiles and bombs, you rank up and you get new planes and weapons systems. Oh and you remember how Ace Combat had those old(ish) planes in it? Like F4 Phantom, Mig21 Fishbed, A6 intruder etc. etc. well so does HAWX.

And like most Ubi's games, it looks good and runs perfectly smooth! Especially the terrain looks very nice as it's all made out of satellite images (AFAIK).

Right, back to the skies!

EDIT: Ow and it also has replay option ála Ace Combat.
