She is fast but you have to be really gentle on the stick. Ease into moves, nothing sharp in pitch.
Also shouldn't the P-51 have a gyro gunsight? If I fiddle with my bomb aiming controls I get to choose different fighter wingspans but see no difference in the reticle.

There were Mossies scattered around Suffolk in the late war period, RAF Beccles had some briefly, practicing how to drop the Highball spinning bombs, but then they moved back out to Oxfordshire.
However, we did have a B-17 and B-24 group over at USAF Debach:
As well as a B-17 group at RAF Framlingham, the control tower of which is now a fantastic little museum with some lovely displays that I've visited a couple of times
