Ranks in Aces of the Deep
 

Hi there,

I loved playing Aces of the Deep but I only managed to be promotod to Korvettenkapitän (Lieutenant Commander) although I played on full realism. Does anybody know if Korvettenkapitän is the highest rank that you can achieve?

I also have never been promoted to anything but KK, however I recall having read somewhere that you could teoretically be promoted to "Kapitän zur See". Dunno if that is true or not....

Anywhere you can open with notepad an archive that lies somewhere in the game's folder, and where ALL text entries in the game are collected, and see if there is somewhere a message telling you that you have been promoted to anything higher than Korvetten Kapitän.:know:

Korvettenkapitän is the top rank available in Caod, at least for me, as I always choose the option for staff duty that usually appears at that level; my captain is going to be too stressed for war service, and I'm tired of this character.

Funny, I was just promoted last night.
