Adding / Editing 3D Models in Cold Waters

Hi All,

I can see that Cold Waters have been positively received by the Community and the modding Scene here on subsim.com has already started improving it even more. I was curious if the 3D objects in the game were modable as well. I am a bit of an amateur 3D "artist" myself and I'd love to help this game to grow. I was thinking of upgrading the current 3D models (even though the current ones are very good they could use a few polys more..) and perhaps adding others if required.

Thanks

It looks like the 3D models and the skins are locked away somewhere. Another modder said he can't even crack them open with Unity.

Take them from RAM.

Hello, i have an idea for a ship that would be nice to have in the game. It is the support vessel of the Typhoon SSBN's - Project 11570 Alexandr Brykin. It could carry 16 R-39 ballistic missiles and load a Typhoon on sea.

With this ship there could be some nice missons be made. Someone did a 3d model for me - but there are many little details missing. I could give it to you if you like to make it ready and useable for us...
