SUBSIM Radio Room Forums - Where can I change battery life?

Hello, just joined and searched like crazy and still can't find the answer, so here we go:

What file and code lines do I need to change to increase the battery life of the VIIC boat? I tried increasing the .sim file, Range Submerged, but it doesn't seem to do anything.

Either that, or I was thinking of finding the files controlling the battery upgrade options (I "purchased" the highest battery option) and taking a look at those, but I can't find any files like that. Are there files in the directory that contain the properties for the battery upgrades?

Alternatively, if I could actually use the snorkel to recharge batteries without it constantly cutting out in rough seas, switching the crew back and forth between diesel and electric engines, that would be even better.

I'm not after realism here, obviously, I just want to play the game and get to where I want to go without being bombarded every time I try to recharge.
