Phases of the Moon

I have never seen mentioned any documents carried on a boat referring to the Moon phases. This was obviously very important information to know if you were attacking a convoy at night.

Were charts issued routinely to crews departing on a mission?

Could the developers include a moon phase chart in Wolfpack bitte ?

Are the moon phases even modelled in-game?

Any charts, maps, almanacs, and moon charts were historically ordered and maintained by the navigator. So I would believe they would have access. I don’t think it is modeled in this game. The first thing they need to do is tone done the moonlight before anything else. Seems really bright!

Update for the Wolfpack Designers

Hi mate,

There is a great moon phase predictor for designers to use at:

How do I tell them? Think they read this?

I use something similar when I am writing SH3 Moonlit night Missions

The moon is not only excessively bright, but also also absolutely huge in the game. I'm not an outdoorsy person in general, but I think this is not quite what it's supposed to look like :)
