Loading screen and this bug
Hi guys...
I've tried all the options. The newly installed game. I went only tutorial. JSGME installed. Unpacked mods. When I run the game I have something like that. http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/pict...pictureid=5640 I do not know what to do. Several times JSGME install again and again loaded mods straight from zips archive. Still the same. MODS soup: http://wklej.org/id/748928/ The game is in version 1.2. SH5.exe is patched too. Can anyone see where the error is? Best regards, Kurtz |
making a wild guess here : does " Manos Scopes-patch for 4x3" match your screen resolution?
|
Earlier this patch didn`t have any influence. I have always inserted here some correction for 4x3. I`ve played till the beginning of 1940.
I played with these mods a few days earlier, and suddenly something like this. I have reinstalled and ... Hence my surprise. My screen is 1280x1024 and I know this is 5:4 but actually it is 4x3... Have a look at this http://gdgt.com/iiyama/prolite/e1900s/specs/ And the next model (newest I think) PROLITE E1900S-B2 is 5x4 with the same resolution 1280x1024  http://uk.shopping.com/iiyama-ProLit...-B2-Black/info And another one E1900S-1 1280x1024 aspect ratio 4x3. Scroll down please. http://www.iiyama.com/gb_en/products/prolite-e1900s-1/ So I have put the 4x3 patch. Test with 5x4 - the same issue:shifty: Thanks flostt:salute: |
running out of memory :hmmm:
do you have the crash since installing additional mods :hmmm: |

But in this case the game runs normally, no problem. I can not even run a campaign. I'm going to uninstall again - the last time. I'll see if anything changes. If not, I give up. |
Try to disable SubFlags 0.0.8 by TDW... sometimes it helps...
|
Alright.
First of all thank you very much guys for your attention and any help. Next thing I think I found my bad. Just like a schoolboy I forgot about one IMPORTANT thing: DO NOT EDIT MenuUser.py in the MODS folder!:damn: - that was my totally mistake  I use to edit only three small things and ONE big: Use IO_Strategic_map_tools or something like that :nope: Earlier I use to edit only the nr. of the hull and the cpt`s name and there was no problem... Sorry, and thank you :salute: |

Sometimes there is a lot of things to change... And I`m just lost in this  I`m a simply man actually a one man click ;) Thank you sober :salute: Btw, do you know - you can edit Realism percentage in file D:\Silent Hunter 5\data\Cfg---->GameplaySettings.cfg And this is my configuration: [RealismPercentage] LimitedBatteriesRealismPercentage=7 LimitedCompressedAirRealismPercentage=5 LimitedO2RealismPercentage=8 LimitedFuelRealismPercentage=8 RealisticRepairTimeRealismPercentage=8 ManualTargetingSystemRealismPercentage=15 NoMapUpdateRealismPercentage=12 RealisticSensorsRealismPercentage=7 DudTorpedoesRealismPercentage=7 RealisticReloadRealismPercentage=6 NoEventCameraRealismPercentage=5 NoExternalViewRealismPercentage=4 NoStabilizeViewRealismPercentage=0 I changed this from 7 to 0 MPShowPlayerNamesRealismPercentage=0 MPShowTorpedoesRealismPercentage=0 NoShipHealthBarRealismPercentage=4 NoGunProjectilePathRealismPercentage=4 And I added some points to other values and now I have 84%. No matter NoStabilize thicked or unthicked. This is just an idea to change this strange %% of 'realism'. So totality is still 100. :salute: |
I am pretty sure the game reads those realism settings from the save game file in my documents . Thats why you can only change realism settings while in the bunker . I have NoStabilizeView=false because i hate the unstabilised uzo .

In your Doc is only this: C:\Documents and Settings\oem\...\SH5\data\cfg-----> GameplaySttings [MiscSettings] CurrentNation=German MeasurementUnits=authentic [Current] LimitedBatteries=true LimitedCompressedAir=true LimitedO2=true LimitedFuel=true RealisticRepairTime=true ManualTargetingSystem=true NoMapUpdate=false RealisticSensors=true DudTorpedoes=true RealisticReload=true NoEventCamera=true NoExternalView=false NoStabilizeView=false MPShowPlayerNames=false MPShowTorpedoes=false NoShipHealthBar=true NoGunProjectilePath=true So it`s meaning - thicked or unthicked - nothing about values - math value :) And I think, maybe I`m wrong - this is generall setup for realism in Historical missions - only. My links provide to percenatge setup, and here you go this result :) And I`m almost sure this is general for whole game :) http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/pict...pictureid=5635 This is when you click on the main menu Options or in the bunker - the same status for realism :) 100% or 84% - I`m using map update contact and external camera :) I think this is simply math. Game realism %% higher = more points for a mission Am I right? :) As I wrote (post above) 100 points = 100% Realism. These points you can simply distribute but keeping this value = 100 points = 100% (thick7+thick6+thick6+thick-0- UNTHICK - 8...) |
Ok , thanks :salute:

You`re welcome :salute:
