Von Dos , I would like to add some English carriers we do not have in the game as well as HMS Courageous, Eagle, Ark Royal.

is there a step on how to design them ?
I mean : which 3d program I have to use, is it possible to have an example to follow to mantain the exact poligon number...for instance, are there rules to follow?

can you tell me step by step what I have to do?

Hi mate!
For mod i suggest you to use a couple of programs:
Pack3D, for unpack models from dat files;
3Ditor, for a lot of functions and settings, and for set objects coordinates (xyz);
(those 2 are avaiable from subsim, use search option)

after this you need a good 3d modelling program able to work on obj files.
There are a lot of 3d modelling programs, you can choose. I use Maya 7.

For poly, you can change numbers, but don't make files too large or you'll not be able to load them :up:

But I have a little question. I've read throug this threat, but I'm not quite sure.

Do your ships appear random in GWX3.0?

I've read something, that I have to add them in my campaign file if I want them in a harbour, but they will appear in convoys random. Can this be confirmed?

I think this is the correct reply:

civil ships (hospital ships, liners) will appear randomly in convoys and as single units in campaign (big liners will be rare, btw) without campaign modifications; if you want to find them in a place and in a choosed day, you can open your campaign.scr and add them; and yes, if you want to see them in harbour, you need to script :yep:

warships (cruisers, aircraft carriers and battleships) need to be scripted in campaign.scr ;)

Does that mean that even though I have HMS Warspite enabled,and RM San Giorgio, RHN G.Averof, in JSGME,it will never show up:hmm:I'd like it to show up in the odd task force or some such,how would I go about doing that?;)

Wery good news for us how no less or no scripts at all would be same kaind of exempel of scripting. Just too see on same nice exemple how too add u and athers nice ships , planes end so on. Same other rhing is but not for thise topic maybe a show how too chenge a cargo on ships. Or is it going rendom in game allredy.

You gan go through the campaign SCR - open in notepad and search for Warspite\Valiant\Barham and Queen Elizabeth
Replace stand in BBs class-BBRevenge etc with BBWarspite
