Holy crap this game looks beautiful. I have 11/11/11 off from work, and I've already told the fiancee that she won't be seeing much of me that day.

From that link I read you can beat the game in 2hrs, I would rather the game last months for me, beating it in 2hr would kill the experience though I know Oblivion without expansions can be clocked in a day son did this after he finished it first time round probably far quicker if you were determined. Skyrim in 2hrs? Only for the geeks.

It was proven today that The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim can be beaten in two hours. While it might take you considerably longer, and when we say might, we mean with utmost certainty. We say that because this feat was accomplished by a Bethesda QA tester who pretty much does this sort of thing professionally.

Sam Bernstein of Bethesda completed the game's main quest line in two hours and sixteen minutes. Bethesda says that no cheats were allowed, but they didn't say anything about voodoo magic, which I'm thouroughly convinced was used in achieving this sort of break neck pace.

Then again, Bernstein had competition and he only beat that other person by twenty seconds. Unfortunately for us mortals, we'll likely be sinking in copious amounts of time and abandoning obligations when The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim launches later next month.

Skyrim just round the corner couple of weeks to go!

I'm fairly certain Oblivion could be beat in under 2 hours if cutscenes were skipped and fast travel was used. Although it probably means that you don't need to kill all the dragons to complete the game. Funny how they 300+ estimates and their own testers beat it in 2 hours. :haha:

Live action Trailer.

Pretty damn good in my opinion.

Indeed. I haven't been this anxious about a new game in quite a while.

The surprisingly low minimum specs, as spotted by VG247, are as follows:

Operating System: XP/Vista/7
CPU: Dual Core 2GHz
Memory: 2GB RAM
Video card: DX9c, 512MB RAM

And the slightly more intense recommended specs are still not astronomical:

Operating System: XP/7
CPU: Quad-Core Intel/AMD
Memory: 4GB RAM, 6GB HD
Video card: DX9 1GB RAM (GTX 260/Radeon 4890 or higher)

With the release of Skyrim coming up faster than our free time would prefer, we brought together Andrew Reiner, Jeff Cork, and Joe Juba to discuss the knowns and unknowns of Elder Scrolls V. There's plenty of new footage sprinkled throughout their discussion, so stay on the look out for shots of new environments and enemies.

Interesting stuff. Attempting to solve it myself.

Pretty neat that we've had this text in our hands since February(The text is on the back of the February issue), and have not known about it.

Edit: Nevermind, just realized this has been available since January 06, 2011.

Tell her that they are aides for your mental wellbeing.

Either she looks at you confused and leaves you alone, or she will conclude that you're telling her she's driving you nuts.

The latter is less desirable due to complications, but you should still be alone to play your game by the end of it. :O:

I've seen most of these shots before, but if that first one is from ingame, my mind has been blown.

It looks like concept art, but you're right - if that's in-game...holy crap.
