TWoS Map Contact Icons

Im running the latest version of TWoS, and the map markings for ships dont have the small line inside of the square showing their direction. I have to zoom in to see the outline of the ship to tell direction.

That's right, even without Real Navigation the trail lines are not shown by default for realism purposes, it would be too easy to immediately plot a course to intercept.
And if you play with Real Navigation you get no markings at all, you must calculate yourself...

But you can play without Real Navigation and make appear the complete lines with the OFEV if you like :03:

Tip: Get familiar with 'Supermarks' because once you leave the game all you have marked normally on the map will disappear. Supermarks can be saved and reloaded.

Cheers, and Welcome To Subsim

I cant seem to find an option in the OFEV for the trails on contact icons. :hmmm:

Yeah, I couldn't figure it out either. I was however able to turn on the Contact Spotted Info Available from the NavMap section.

Yes, pardon me, the OFEV cannot bring to show the 'queue' of a contact's square, but there are series of settings that will show things on the map which are not shown as a default, this OFEV is a real jungle :salute:
There is a sticky tutorial for setting up easy contacts however.

Plus: Don't forget to set easy contacts in the Game Options when in the bunker, I'm not at my rig at the moment so I can't tell which setting, but I know there are in the options.

Hi guys
See if this solves the problem?
Map Contact Colors (Red-Blue-Green) Mod Replaces The Grey Color Ones Used In Mega Mods > Enable JSGME
